What to Expect

A boudoir shoot is supposed to be all about you, and that's exactly what it will be.

You can choose the location of your shoot, whether it is at home, a hotel, or a professional photo studio, as long as it works for you, then we will make it work for the shoot.

I do use a professional studio based in Greater Manchester for most of my shoots, which has a great selection of sets and outfits, but if that is not convenient for you then I know a number of other studios up and down the UK that may be better suited to your requirements.

During your shoot you should be completely comfortable and I always try to create a fun environment to make you feel completely at ease.  Some people choose to bring a friend on their shoot and I am completely fine with that, sometimes they even help out with giving posing tips as they will know you a lot better.

Before the Shoot

From the moment of booking I will work with you on what types of images you would like to create.  I  always find Pinterest is a great tool to do this.  If you have access to it I always suggest it is a good idea for you to set up your own personal board and pin images you really like.  We can then work from there and get you the images you really want.

There are no bad or stupid questions so feel free to ask me anything you want before your shoot.

During the Shoot

Whether you book 2 hours or 6 hours, I will never rush you through the shoot.  We'll take it at your pace and make sure we get your images just how you want them.  Normally in a 2 hour shoot there will be time for 2 or 3 outfit changes.

After we do each set I will give you a quick run through of the raw images so you can check they are what you want, and if your not happy with any of them, we can re-shoot them if there is time.

After the Shoot

I always aim to get the first view of the images ready within a couple of days.  I will upload a copy of the low resolution photos to an online gallery that only you can access with a direct link.  From there you can review the images in your own time and then let me know if you want any "tweaking".

Depending on how you have chosen to receive your images I will then provide you with a copy of all your photos in 2 formats.  The first is a low resolution copy that is perfect for emailing and uploading to sites like Facebook. The other is a high resolution copy that is perfect for printing.  If you have chosen to have an album created we can discuss the options available.
